It’s a very little state in the mountains between Spain and France, very difficoult to reach without a car. I arrived to Barcelona with a friend and after 3 hours of driving (the last part on mountain roads) we arrived to Andorra.
The landscape on the road to the capital is really beautifull
There are a lot of shops in the city center, because fiscal system is not heavy, but i think products are not very convenient for foreigners… The old town has a lot of nice buildings
The city stays at the bottom of the valley, surrounded by mountains: that gives a wonderfull visual effect, expecially in the panoramic roofs
The surroundings are also good for trekking if you have enough time
On the way back to Barcelona we had a stop in Girona (Spain). It’s the stage for some scenes of “Game of Thrones” (i am not a fan).
There’s a lioness statue in a square near the main church. As a good luck before taking a trip it’s a good tradition kiss lioness’ ass…
We also saw Monserrat, a little town near Barcelona, with a monastery on the top of the mountain.
